Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she started her career as an elementary classroom teacher for 5 years. After taking a few years off to start a family, she moved outside of the U.S.and has lived in Amsterdam, West Midlands of the England, Dubai and now London. When she returned to the field of education, she did so on a new path of educational technology working as a technology integration coach at the American School of Dubai. Most recently she developed the digital learning landscape for a new not for profit I.B. school Halcyon London International School. Cindy is a Google Certified Teacher, Authorized Google Education Trainer, Authorized Apple Education Trainer, and an Apple Distinguished Educator. She completed her undergraduate degree from Hope College in Holland Michigan, acquired a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Minnesota and an Educational Technology Certificate from Michigan State University.
